Recognizing Our Common Interests for More Just Outcomes

Who We Are

The Collaborative Law and Justice Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable and educational organization that promotes awareness of our common interests to help achieve a more just balancing of interests, through peaceful resolution of conflict, whether the conflict is one-on-one or within larger populations, to achieve better outcomes for individuals and for our wider community. The idea is that recognizing and focusing on our shared ideals and interests, on what we agree on, will lead to better and more just outcomes for more of us.

Collaborative Legal Services

The Expedited Collaborative Process: Resolving Divorce and Custody Matters with Less Conflict, Time and Money.

We are providing pro bono and reduced-fee legal services, with a particular focus on individuals in divorce and custody disputes using the Expedited Collaborative Process. For individuals above pro bono income guidelines, which are most people, legal fees are based on the individuals’ income so that hiring a lawyer is very affordable for working and middle-class people.

Social Justice

Understanding How Our Democracy Works and that Shared Success Strengthens Our Democracy.

We're promoting an understanding of our form of democracy: to better participate in our democracy; to maximize the opportunity for more people to benefit from our system through economic empowerment; to explore current economic and social issues with analysis of which interests are met through different public policy approaches; and, to achieve a peaceful resolution of conflict through a more equitable balancing of interests.

Connect with us and see if we’re a right fit for your situation.
