Economic Empowerment Through MicroGrants and Loans for Entrepreneurs:

Supporting Financial Self-Sufficiency and Success for Entrepreneurs

Providing small grants to entrepreneurs who have no access or limited access to capital to allow them to create or expand a business. Often a relatively small amount of money is all that is needed for a low-income or moderate-income person to start a business or to expand their operational capacity. The relatively small-dollar-amount grants help support these entrepreneurs as they seek financial self-sufficiency and financial success.

This program aligns with our mission to maximize the opportunity for more people to benefit from our system through economic empowerment. When people are able to be financially self-sufficient and are able to meet the needs and interests of themselves and their families, it reduces the likelihood of conflict with others who are seen to have competing interests.

Technical and Legal Support for Low and Middle Income Entrepreneurs

An economic empowerment program that partners with private attorneys and other professionals to provide assistance for low and middle-income entrepreneurs in forming business entities, in complying with reporting and other requirements under federal and/or state law, and in obtaining greater financial literacy to support these entrepreneurs in becoming financially self-sufficient and financially successful.
