Ms. Kratovil-Lavelle established the Collaborative Law and Justice Center (CLJC) as a legal service and social justice organization that aims to: promote the peaceful resolution of conflicts through collaborative law and other forms of alternative dispute resolution; provide pro bono and reduced fee legal services to persons of low and middle-income; offer restorative justice services; conduct public information campaigns regarding our democratic system, including the legislative process, voting rights and laws, civic engagement, the roles of the three branches of government, comparisons with other forms of government and risks to democracy; and, to otherwise address issues of social justice, particularly economic justice.
Connie graduated from Gettysburg College with a double major in Philosophy and Spanish. She later pursued two law degrees, earning her JD from University of Baltimore School of Law and LLM from Georgetown University Law Center.

Director of Public Education
Dr. Angela Stoltz (she/her) is Assistant Clinical Faculty at the University of Maryland in the College of Education's Teaching, Learning, Policy, and Leadership Department where she primarily serves as the Middle Grades Mathematics and Science Professional Development School (PDS) Coordinator. As PDS coordinator, Dr. Stoltz supports Middle Grades Math and Science undergraduate and graduate level teacher candidates, their university supervisors, and their school district mentor teachers who are employees in our partnership schools located across Montgomery, Prince George's, Howard, and Anne Arundel counties. Dr. Stoltz has collaborated with citizens of the Piscataway Conoy Tribe to launch the university's first Piscataway-developed and led course, HNUH268W, Where the Waters Blend: Contemporary Indigenous perspectives on History, traditions, and modern issues. She has served as PI and co-PI on a variety of grant-funded projects focused on culturally inclusive and sustainability-focused curricula in STEM education.
Dr. Stoltz earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics Education) at the University of Maryland in 2019. She earned her Master's degree in Education in 2006 at Wilmington University and her Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences at the University of Delaware in 2001. In her 18 years as an educator, she has served students in middle school mathematics, adult education (GED prep, Adult Basic Education, and English Language Learners), and college (community college and university). Her research is focused on inclusive and integrated STEM education, STEM teacher preparation, education for sustainability, and Indigenous/Higher Education collaborations.
