Wendy Hartmann Moore has practiced law for more than 25 years. Over that period, she has defended and advocated for the interests of employers and businesses while in a small Washington DC firm and also in a much larger, Baltimore-based firm. She was recruited to help create the legal department at the D.C. Water and Sewer Authority in Washington DC, now known as “D.C. Water.” In that role, she was the principal legal advisor to the Board of Directors, officers, and managers on employment issues and managed major environmental, tort, and employment litigation. She left DC Water to serve as an Administrative Law Judge at the Office of Administrative Hearings for the District of Columbia.
In 2016, Wendy returned to the private practice of law. Currently, she is the owner and managing principal of The Moore Law Group, where she has assembled and practices with a select group of diverse and highly regarded lawyers who have broad and deep experience in Employment Law, General Business and Corporate Law, and Environmental Law.
Ms. Moore is a thoughtful and skilled counselor, neutral investigator, fact-finder, and decision-maker who has a keen sensitivity to the differences in each of those roles. Every day she draws upon the knowledge she has gained in each of her prior roles to provide employers, executives, and professionals advice and counsel on all matters related to employment.
