Emily Rudo

Emily is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Political Science and a Minor in Sociology. Emily is the Student Body President and Class of 2023 President. While is college, Emily has served as: the Children’s Environmental Health Justice Research Assistant September for St. Mary’s College of Maryland; Senate Environment & Infrastructure Policy Intern for U.S. Senator Ben Cardin where she composed a memorandum for an amicus brief supporting science-based Clean Water Act protections in the Supreme Court case Sackett v. EPA and a memorandum with policy options regarding the blue crab fishery decline in Maryland reported in the winter dredge survey, among other accomplishments; Summer Intern for the Potomac Group LLC in Washington, D.C. where she assisted in research related to developments in the field of Climate/Nature Finance, including sovereign green/blue bonds, sovereign sustainable-linked bonds, and debt-for-nature conversions. Emily will be attending the University of Maryland School of Law Fall 2023.
