Leslie Alas

Leslie Alas is a Salvadoran- American, first-generation recent grad from Dickinson

College. She is a Los Angeles native and now resides in New York City as she embarks

on her professional career. Previously, she worked with the Posse Foundation as a

Program Coordinator where she reviewed and conducted interviews to award 90

students full-tuition scholarships to 9 universities. In 2020, Leslie launched her

own business, Coast2Coast Beauty. The brand promotes

diverse beauty and continues to seek ways to make the beauty industry a welcoming

and inclusive space for everyone. Leslie is currently working as a Communications Coordinator at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City.

In her free time, Leslie enjoys traveling. After graduating, Leslie

took a month to discover the most breathtaking sites in Europe. She is excited to

embark on this new journey with the Collaborative Law & Justice Center and is inspired

by the work that has been done and the future of the organization’s work.
